Details and benefits of each membership level are listed on our membership page.
  • How can I RSVP to events?
If you are a member, please select “Upcoming Events” from the drop-down menu, and email with your membership number.  If the registration is live, you will be able to register via email and will receive confirmation. If you are not a member, please go to TICKETS and purchase. Or email, and request more info.
  • How can I stay informed about upcoming events?
Subscribe to our newsletter, follow us on social media (Instagram), and check out our events page.
  • How can I subscribe to the WIF newsletter?
It’s simple! On the bottom of our home page, there is a “Subscribe” field. Enter your email address, or click hereto subscribe to the weekly newsletter.
  • How can my project or event get listed in the WIF newsletter?
We do include partner events as well as member accomplishments in our newsletter. Although we do receive more requests than we have room for, we encourage you to fill out this form for consideration.
  • How can my project or event be featured on WIF social media?
Similarly to newsletter requests, we look forward to promoting women and non-binary workers within the screen industries on our social media. If you have an upcoming project or event, fill out this form for consideration. Please note, due to the volume of submitted requests, we can not guarantee that your submission will be featured.
  • How can I apply for career programs?
Applications for the WIF Fellowship Program and WIF x Black List Episodic Lab open in the Fall, please subscribe to our newsletter or check back here for further updates.
  • Does WIF fund films or provide connections to funders?
We do not provide direct funding at this time. The WIF Film Finishing Fund is on hiatus while we find a new sponsor. We do have career programs (see above) that provide other types of support.
  • Are there other labs or career programs that WIF recommends?
Yes! Check out the Sundance Institute’s Inclusion Resource Map that lists hundreds of organizations, programs, grants, etc. available to filmmakers.
  • How do I find women and gender non-conforming people for my crew?
WIF has a partnership with Crewvie, an international database of crew members that can be sorted by gender, race, city, and other identifiers.
