WIF HONORS :

In 2026, Women in Film Vancouver will launch its first annual celebration honoring some of British Columbia’s most impactful female filmmakers, creators, and industry leaders. This signature event will spotlight the extraordinary women who continue to shape the province’s screen-based landscape — from trailblazing directors and writers to producers, craftspeople, and emerging voices whose work elevates the artistic and cultural fabric of BC. The celebration marks the beginning of a renewed legacy: a dedicated space for women to be recognized, supported, and championed within our industry.

WIF VANCOUVER SALONS

Quarterly during the year, we will bring together cohorts of female and gender expansive creators, executives and icons. Salons are an opportunity for Impact as thought leaders come together in intimate settings to strategize, connect and work to advance equality across the screen industries.

CAREER PROGRAMMING EVENTS :

Throughout the year, WIF builds community through screenings, panel conversations, and professional development programming such as networking events and skill-building workshops.
