Shannon Kohli

Emmy Award-winning director, Shannon Kohli’s career began with a focus on technical roles, working as a camera operator and director of photography for fifteen years. During this time, she also directed short films and music videos, showcasing her versatility and creative vision. With a solid foundation in both technical aspects and storytelling, Shannon made the transition to full-time directing in 2018.

Since then, Shannon has amassed an impressive list of credits, having directed over 50 episodes of television across various popular series. Her work includes episodes of acclaimed shows such as RESIDENT ALIEN, FIREFLY LANE, YOU, DIRTY JOHN: BETTY BRODERICK, ONE OF US IS LYING, THE MAGICIANS, THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY, MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS, ALLEGIANCE,  WILD CARDS, MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN,  PRIVATE EYES WEST COAST, MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS, COVEN ACADEMY and VIRGIN RIVER.

In 2020, Shannon directed her first feature film, ALL JOKING ASIDE. She is currently attached to direct multiple feature films and television projects in development.
