As co-owner of Matrix Production Services and Sumo Environmental, Veronica Braico has been a long-time supporter of women working in film, television, and production throughout British Columbia. Through Matrix, she has supported filmmaker recognition initiatives and British Columbia short film programming, helping create opportunities that celebrate local talent and elevate emerging voices within the screen industry.

Passionate about mentorship, community building, and creating meaningful opportunities for women, Veronica has consistently championed greater recognition and support for women working across all areas of production. Her commitment extends beyond film and television to the broader production community, including live events, experiential entertainment, and the many professionals working behind the scenes who help bring creative projects to life.

As Women in Film Vancouver enters an exciting new chapter, Veronica looks forward to supporting initiatives that connect, empower, and celebrate women throughout the production sector. She is particularly passionate about helping expand opportunities for women working behind the scenes and developing future Women in Production programming and mentorship initiatives.

She is proud to serve as a Founding Advisory Board Member of the newly re-established Women in Film Vancouver and to support the growth of WIFF Vancouver as it builds a vibrant future for female-forward storytelling, industry leadership, and women in production across British Columbia.
